BRIDGING INTERSECTIONAL INTELLECTUALISM WITH PRACTICAL AND RELEVANT IMPLEMENTATION

"Pedagogical Uses of Intersectionality," developed and facilitated by Prof. Tanya Washington, in the GSU CoLaw and IAS Graduate Research Assistant, Xavier Lynum, now MA CoA ‘23. Professor Tanya Washington Hicks headed the program, along with a diverse group of five (5) professors (for a total of six facilitators) from different disciplines. The workshop consisted of 9 teams of faculty and graduate teaching assistants with each team producing a course syllabus highlighting learning objectives informed by intersectionality and interdisciplinarity.
